Dr. Parham began working in July 2007 at the University of New Mexico, where she is Professor and Director of the Occupational Therapy Graduate Program. In the EARLY Program, she is involved with occupational therapy supervision and development of clinical assessment and intervention strategies. Prior to joining UNM, Dr. Parhamwas on the faculty of the University of Southern California for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida, Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from USC, and Ph.D. in Education from UCLA, with specialization in Special Education and cognate in Developmental Psychology.Before Dr. Parham began her academic career, she worked with adults, adolescents, and children as an occupational therapist in out-patient and in-patient mental health.
